Signature: Mantetsu Kitau Tsukuru Kore with a Ren stamp and 624 on the nakago mune.

Forging Pattern: Mantetsu,
Tempering Pattern: suguha.

Mountings: 1934 pattern shin-gunto with the tsuka and ishizuke (drag) missing as well as some of the seppa. It has a brass habaki in decent condition and a saya in good condition despite the missing drag. Has the normal bright plated, non sukashi tsuba made for the leather strap method of blade retention in good condition.
Overall Condition: Fair, the blade is covered in heavy scratches with signs if attempts to sharpen it with a file or grinding wheel. It would make a good sword for practice polish or tho have a tamisigiri level polish done as these swords are known to cut very well.
