Nice, Hand Forged Gendai, Never Mounted

Forging Pattern: Nice tight itame, well forged. 
Tempering Pattern: Gunome in nie.
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  25.125 inchesNakago: 7.75 inches 6 mm thick and 32 mm wide at Hamachi
Mountings:  Old shirasaya and wooden habaki.
Overall Condition:  Very good, sword was never mounted, has no mekugi ana in nakago. Was professionally polished and has polishers signature. Well forged sword with some light rust and staining, minor pits and a tiny piece is broken off the tip. Very active hamon with ji-nie and chikei. Would be quite beautiful with a proper polish.
