Mountings:  Silver foil "rain" patter habaki, saya with missing lacquer, kurikata and much wood loss on one side
Overall Condition:  fair, a slender wakizashi which does not appear to have been abused. It is covered with stabilized rust, the lines of its geometry are not crisp and a foundation polish was begun on one side and abandoned.  Daido worked in the late 16th century in the Mino school and was also known as Daimichi
