Mountings:  All original and matching High Grade Shin Gunto mounts in 90%+ condition.
Overall Condition:  Very Good.  Original wartime polish with some scratches and small nicks from use.  No rust.  Emura was the Director of Okyama Prison during the war and made swords there with the aid of prisoners.  Rated as Med-High Grade Gendaito.  This is one of the nicest Emuras that i have seen with a very active Choji Hamon, that is unfortunately difficult to photograph, the shape is very elegant and the sword is well balanced.  The fittings are in very good condition and all original to the sword.  Overall a very nice package for a very popular smith.
