Mountings: '37 pattern dual ashi naval mounts in good condition. Leather like finish on saya. All seppa present with matching numbers and all fittings correct. Silver washed copper habaki in good condition. Some wear on gilt fittings.
Overall Condition: Excellent, sword in near perfect condition, no nicks with some light scuffing & scratching. Nakago has a Toyokawa Naval Arsenal stamp as well as a second stamp we don't recognize. It also has a three character mei which we were unable to translate. An excellent example of a stainless Kai-gunto which are scarce and becoming rare.
