Mountings:  Civilian mounted sword with Gunto handle.  All original to the sword and in good condition.  The saya is missing the kojiri and has some chips.  Civilian brass tsuba.
Overall Condition:  very Good.  Some surface rust near the habaki, no pitting, chips or nicks.  This is an overall very well forged blade with nice tight grain and bright hamon.  Excellent feel and balance.
