Overall Condition: Good. Most likely a sword mounted for a rich merchant, just shy of a katana's lenght but mounted in katana fittings. Blade is very well forged that reminds me of a Hizen sword, elegant shape, nice bright suguha hamon, a nicely finished nakago and tight hada. Polish is hazed over but lines are crisp. A very nice fully mounted sword and a great value for money. The fittings alone on this sword are worth over $700.
