Mountings:  Original 1939 pattern shin gunto with all matching fittings.  
Overall Condition:  Good.  SukeNobu is a listed Raikugun Jumei Tosho that was licensed by the military to make swords in the traditional manner, these smiths are commonly recognized with Star stamps on the tang.  This is an extremely well forged sword that has a nice active hamon and a boshi that follows the hamon in ko-midare.  A very nice example of a high-end custom ordered Shin Gunto.
