Mountings: Stone finish saya. period mounts, iron tsuba and one piece copper habaki. Handle has been re-wrapped with brown silk.
Overall Condition: The blade has no forging flaws, is very wide and health. There are scuff marks and some rub marks but the blade can still be easily enjoyed as is. The fittings are all matching and in very good condition. The lacquered ito is deteriorating, very easily restored for a few hundred dollars to a color of your choice. Very nice same and menuki. The tsuba is iron and habaki is a one piece copper some of the original gold plating left. Overall a nice originaland complete package.
