Forging Pattern: Mokeume with Itame
Tempering Pattern:   Midare in nioi guchi with ko nie. Vibrant and active hamon.
Dimensions:   Blade length:  50.5cm, Nakago length:  13cm, Thickness at munemachi: 7mm, Width at munemachi: 29mm, Thickness at yokote: 5mm, Width at yokote: 22mm
Mountings:  In top quality shirasaya with ivory eyelets.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  There were several generations of this smith.  This one probably worked in the late Muromachi period.  A nicely forged sword with thick and wide blade.  There is a small kizu and an area of rust.  In full polish and top quality shirasaya and a silver 2 piece habaki.  Get this sword for less than the cost of its restoration.
