27.25 Shinto Katana in Handachi Mounts

Mountings:  Habaki Only and original iron Handachi Mounts.  Tsuba and kurikata missing.
Overall Condition:  Good.  Classic shinto katana with excellent balance and an elegant curve.  There is some loose grain and 2 fukure about 8 inches from the hamachi.  In original pre war polish with some stable rust and hazing.  It is exceedingly difficult to find original iron handachi mounts.
