Mountings:  There is a saya and a two piece gold washed habaki. 
Overall Condition:  The blade has areas ofrust on it.  A couple of the larger areas have a rough surface.  For the most part they should come out in a good polish.  Otherwise this is a very stout blade.  The saya has lost a lot of its lacquer and is splitting along some of the seems.  The kirikata and the piece below the kozuka pocket are missing.  The wood koiguchi has split.  The wood foundation is solid and could be striped, lacquered and used.  The habaki is in good condition but needs to be cleaned and replated.
