Mountings:  Pristine condition original shakudo handachi fittings with shakudo menuki and iron sukashi tsuba.  Original handle wrap is intact.  Gold foil habaki.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  Recent polish.  Some wear to the lacquer and some very minor loose grain in one area.
Comments: It is very difficult to find swords that do not require any restoration let alone ones with its original handachi fittings intact and over 28 inches long.  The fittings alone is worth about $2000 and the polish is about $2000 as well.
