Forging Pattern:  Masame with Itame
Tempering Pattern:  Notare with sunagashi in konie and nioi
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  26.4 inchesNakago: 7.8 inches, 8.5mm thick, 33mm wide. 
Mountings: Plain iron fuchi kashira with Aoi Mon Menuki, shakudo foil tsuba and old saya.  Note:  the fittings are not original to this blade but fits it quite well.  The saya will require a little bit of additional.  All fittings are from the Edo period.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  Blade is in nice clean polish.  This is an exceptionally forged blade with lots of activity in the hamon and a nicely finished nakago.
