Mountings:  Buke Zukuri mounts converted for use in WW2.  There is a black lacquered saya under the leather wrap.  Handle is original to sword, but seppas are not matched.  Silver foil habaki.
Overall Condition:  Good. Some surface rust, several small nicks on blade and scratches from cutting.  This is a nice long elegant Hizen school sword.  Extremely well balanced and sharp.
