Signature:  NoShu Seki Ju Ichimonji Minamoto AmaHide Kitau Kore, Full dess marks, no arsenal stamps.
Forging Pattern:  Masame with Itame
Tempering Pattern:  Suguha Midare in ko nie with lots of activity.
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  25.25 inchesNakago: 8.25 inches 7mm thick 29mm wide
Mountings:  All original 39 pattern shin gunto mounts.
Overall Condition:  Very Good.  This is an unusual mei for Amahide, according to Sloguh's book, this is most likely a DaiSaku Daimei by Ido Hidetoshi, Amahide's son.  This sword is very elegant and has a lot of activity in the hamon.  A must have for Amahide collectors.  Some scratches in the monouchi area and some small areas of rust.
