Mountings:  Original 1944 pattern shin gunto mounts with sunagi.  Blade is in shirasaya.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  Recent polish and shirasaya and sunagi.  Listed as High to Superior grade gendaito in Slough's.  Blade is in excellent condition with a very bright active hamon, a great example of the often stout swords in 44 mounts.
