Mountings:  Old green aogai saya.
Overall Condition:  Fair.  Blade is in old Japanese polish with some grain openings in areas.  there is also a couple of what look like cleaned out rust pits near the nakago.  Very nicely forged wakizashi from the 1600s with a nice active hamon and very prominent hada.
