Forging Pattern:  Mokume with Itame
Tempering Pattern:  Gunome Midare in nie.
Dimensions:  Blade Length:  26 inchesNakago: 8 inches 7.8mm thick 33.5mm wide
Mountings:  Shirasaya and Complete Koshirae with iron tsuba of mums, iron fuchi kashira of kabuto and menukis of flowers. 
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  Completely polished and mounted.  Restoration and fittings alone on this sword costs about $3000.  This is a exceptionally well made gendaito, ready for the display case or for use in Iai.
