Mountings:  Exquisitely done cane mounts in lacquer made to look like a knotty old branch.  
Overall Condition:  Mounts in near excellent with some minor chipping. Shinto wakizashi is high quality with excellent hada, but needs a polish to remove some isolated rust areas, hazing and scratches.  Incredible opportunity to own a top quality cane sword.
