Mountings:  Shirasaya with Copper Double Habaki which was gold foiled at one time.
Overall Condition:  Excellent.  An elegant old sword with great character and a very graceful powerful curvature.  This sword was shortened and was likely a very long tachi originally.  But it still retains over 29 inches of cutting edge and is very well balanced.  There is very deep activity in both the hamon and hada where you could see sunagashi, chikei and pools of nie.
