Overall Condition:  Good in old polish.  Some surface scratches and rust.  Nice heavy naginata with an uncut tang.  Older naginatas tend to be heavier and more stout than those made in the Edo period for battlefield use.  This is a nicely forged heavy naginata with a vibrant grain and hamon.  No visible forging flaws.
