Mountings:  World War II gunto koshirae with leather covered.  The saya looks like a bullet past through it and possibly been struck by another bullet (see pictures).   
Overall Condition: There are no defects or damage to the blade from any bullets or otherwise.  There are areas of minor rust pitting that have been cleaned out and would disappear with a good polish.
