Mountings: The saya is very attractive but does show ware from being carried and the is a small crack in the koiguchi. The tsuka has one crack which can be repaired and is strong otherwise. The same is very nice and the menuki are good quality. The fuchi is missing but the kashira is nice shakudo. The habaki is silver foiled and is in very good usable condition.
Overall Condition: The blade is in good condition other that the chips. There are areas where rust has been cleaned off. There appears to be utsuri but not certain because of the old polish. This would be a very nice blade in fresh polish.
